When asked if studying Shakespeare has value in today’s modern world, I am under the impression that Shakespeare has extreme relevance and value in students who live in today’s day and age. The value in studying Hamlet in immense and I feel that it is often overlooked and underrated by today’s young people. Shakespeare has withstood the test of time over the past four hundred years and the morals character conflicts of the play are still relevant today. It is for these reasons that I believe Shakespeare’s writings should be studied by high school students around the world.

  1. Rob, I'm hoping for a tad more depth. Also, I was hoping you'd have a link or hyper link and a picture to add. Look to my post for an exemplar of the type of depth I'm looking for. Thanks

  3. Rob, I agree with your opinions as Shakespeare's work has lasted the test of time and it's themes are still definitely relevant today, however I don't understand what it has to offer to high school students.

  4. Rob, I disagree with your opinion. I think the opposite actually. I just have one question for you, how is it useful for me when I'll never use it again? Therefore it's a waste of my time, plus reading novels is what really improves my English not something that I don't understand and is written in old English which no one use's anymore.
